This is a recent painting of some green apples and leaves that came from a tree in the backyard. In spite of the lack of rain, this was the best apple yield in five years for this tree. Once the squirrels figured it all out, the apples were doomed.

Nice, Mike! The apples shine like green pearls. I really like the different greens in the piece. The warmer, more saturated hues in the fruit vs. the cooler, grayer greens in the leaves definitely make the spheres "pop."
